Hello all Council President La Cava heard you and responded by adding the REPEAL of the Bonus ADU program on the agenda! Thank you to everyone and especially all who emailed Council President Joe La Cava’s office to insist on getting the City of San Diego’s Bonus ADU program on the March 4, 2025 agenda at 10AM.
NOW MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVER! We need everyone TO ATTEND the March 4 council meeting to speak or cede time to those of us speaking. If you can not attend, see link below to email your comments on ITEM S507. We are all concerned about the ZERO Developmental Impact Fees this Bonus ADU programs deprives our community for infrastructure. We also have stories about our community’s problems with City’s delays in fixing its ADU municipal code in an expedient manner. Aligning the City’s Bonus ADU program with California State ADU program is NOT a big ask for our communities. It’s common sense to not give away millions of dollars to developers that rightly belong in our infrastructure.
